Located at 8260 North Ditzler Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri, this club was acquired from Gold's Gym in April 2016 and has since been upgraded with brand new workout equipment. The club features luxury amenities such as a cycle/spin studio, Functional Training Area, upscale locker rooms with showers and hygiene products, and dry saunas in both the men's and women's locker rooms. Group exercise classes are offered daily, including Pilates, yoga, Zumba, and more, all included with membership. "This is my home gym. What got me to join was a wonderful staff. Always been kind. They remember my name and give greetings of the day. I can’t say how nice they’ve been. I enjoy the open gym format and sauna! Plenty of locker space. seems to get busier around 5 PM. Where is there additional parking essentially right across the street but very close Close enough that it doesn’t feel inconvenient at all. Seems to have a better variety Of mechanical machines over the Vivian location. Either way, if it’s busy or empty, you’re not gonna have a hard time finding whatever equipment you need for your work out this day that day"

"I would recommend genesis to anybody.. I think it's good value. The equipment is excellent There's plenty of machines and weights. The locker rooms are clean and well stocked, and the staff is extremely helpful.. They also honor AARP membership. Even if they didn't, I think the fee is well worth it."

"I always come here when visiting my mom when back in town. One of the cleanest gyms you will ever see, and the equipment is top-notch as good as anything we have in Las Vegas! Plus, the people are so friendly when you walk in. It’s like I’m transported into another world Customer Service 25 years ago. This should be your gym if you live in Kansas City!!!!!"

"Was in town for a couple days, needed a gym. Great fit, everything I wanted. It was even busy but I never waited for a machine or anything - bench, squat, etc. Super friendly staff, even offered to waive the guest pass fee. I would have been more than happy to have paid. The other gym-goers were polite and friendly but not too-friendly. The only criticism would be that they didn’t have any towels for the showers - something about an account issue but they told me upfront so it wasn’t a problem."

"Great management, Jason and all the trainers. Clean and so much more variety in both free weight equipment and cable/cardio. Try their week pass if you’re visiting. Very reasonable and well worth it. I think the best part of this place is the variety in equipment. From dumbbells up to 130, to rock climbing hang boards and a heavyweight punching bag and plenty of treadmills, stair climbers, cycles(yes the nice pro ones), and 3 newer bumper plate squat rack stations. Also have (what looks like fun, I didn’t try them) classes with great instructors. Try ‘em out and tell them Florida sent ya. Lol"
