"I took my car in to another place to get an oil change- what a mistake. They barely knew what they were doing- They took forever to do the job, didn't add enough oil and couldn't get the computer to reset. On my drive home the add oil light went on. I called Chris Steger at 5:25 on a Friday night. Steger closes at 5:30. Chris waited for me to come over to the shop, added oil and waited with me while he checked to see if the levels were ok. When I asked what I owed him he said nothing. That kind of service is above and beyond the call of duty and I will never again take my car anywhere else. Thanks again Chris."

"The second time I went here, I was expecting the same service I got the first time. They exceeded my expectation in providing solution to my flat tire. Some things are meant to stay the same, hopefully their service stays the way it is because I plan on coming back and recommending them to others."

"They tried to sell me a new exhaust manifold by claiming that mine was cracked. I was able to prove that it was not cracked and they admitted that. They are thieves. They also claimed to repair an exhaust leak by welding it when in fact, they simply slapped some muffler putty on it and charged me nearly $700. I know other people who have been ripped off by this business. They’re very slick, and they prey on the fact that most people really don’t understand exactly the work that they’re doing. They literally get away with stealing. I intend to find more victims of this business, and urge the Attorney General to file a lawsuit against them under the Missouri merchandising practices act. Stay away. UPDATE: they only refunded the money because I CAUGHT THEM STEALING."

"I’ve been using Steger for quite a while now and have never had a bad experience. They do a great job of reviewing issues and giving their recommendations without pressuring the customer. They have a lovely waiting area with free coffee/drinks. Everyone I’ve had interactions with including Chris (the owner), Carol (the office manager), and Eleana (the front desk receptionist) have all been wonderful. Highly recommend Steger Service!"

"Steger was recommended to me when Mike from Advanced Motors retired and closed up shop. I made an appointment for Friday on Wednesday. I was able to wait for my car. I just needed an emissions test and a look at the fluids. Just a basic check up. The front office ladies were friendly and courteous. They have another building across the street. They are on Manchester near Schiller Camera. I would visit again. They provide text base review for you from their 100 points plus check. Includes pictures and recommendations."
