"Ray is great and explains everything. Called with updates and pricing. We have a subaru outback that was stalling with hard turns and stops plus oil leaking into spark plugs. Other shops would have replaced parts where this shop took the time to clean our new spark plugs and reuse them and cleaned our throttle module instead of replacing to save us money. I appreciated the attention to detail and cost saving measures."

My experience with the management.and mechanics of the shop can described as highly satisfactory. I brought to them my old ailing 94 BMW530i. They gave me back a perky, healthy machine. Ray Muench, the owner/manager of the shop, was amiable, upfront from the start. After having the car looked at, he identified what needed fixing to get my approval before proceeding. After the work, he gave me a printout detailing every item done and the cost for each. Throughout, he was accessible, returning every call promptly in this age of quick-profit businesses, Walter’s is a rarity and quite refreshing!"

"I wrote a review about a year ago and gave this place 5 stars. I brought my new 2016 Audi S5 there 2 days ago for new ceramic brake pads and an oil change, when I picked up my car I immediately noticed all 4 of my wheels were completely destroyed, my leather seat was scratched up from somebody sitting in it with tools or some other sharp object in their pocket - and the next day I was stranded waiting for a tow truck for 90 minutes because my low oil light alarm came on. The mechanic insisted they only cleaned my wheels with soap & water, however that is impossible because all of the finish is gone and they're completely ruined. Audi inspected my car and says something caustic or abrasive was clearly put on the wheels and it will cost about $1,000 to repair the wheels. The seat may need to be replaced because the leather is scraped up, that's likely be a few thousand. Audi is still figuring out the extent of the oil problem. Initially Walter's representative absolutely denied any liability for the wheels, insisting they didn't damage them despite my telling them I'd only had the car for 3 weeks and washed it 5 times and there was zero damage and the wheels were perfect when I dropped it off to them and I had many pictures as it was a new car, in fact I even had the dealer's pictures of the perfect wheels - he tried to tell me that maybe brake dust caused them to become discolored (over night?). Their representative did admit they damaged my leather seat however rather than replace the leather they wanted to "buff" the damaged leather which sounds like a ridiculous half as* fix. The next day (when I called Walters to advise them that I was now stranded due to my low oil light alarm coming on) the representative did say they could have their detail guy try to fix the wheels, which I appreciated however I'm scared to take my car back to Walters at this point. I understand that "things happen" however they shouldn't have lied to me to begin with, should never be so careless sitting on leather seats, and I don't even know what to say at this point about the oil issue - they need to take full responsibility and offer to pay for the damages to be fixed at a 3rd party repair shop AND I'M NOT TAKING THIS REVIEW DOWN UNTIL THEY DO SO.
