The Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site is a museum, park, and tourist attraction located at State Highway V in Ash Grove, Missouri, United States. The site offers a glimpse into the life of Nathan Boone, the youngest son of Daniel Boone, and his resourceful wife Olive. Visitors can explore the Boone home and cemeteries associated with the family, allowing them to travel back to the 1830s and learn about one of the families that defined early Missouri. In addition to the historical attractions, the site also offers Cool Parks gear for sale, perfect for gearing up for a trip to one of Missouri's State Parks. Please note that the site may be temporarily closed for weather, stewardship activities, maintenance, or trail closures. Staff will not be available on certain holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Lincoln's Birthday, and Presidents Day.
