"I’ve been going to my same dentist since I was a child. I am now in my 40s. So I’m not one to get on here and just complain about anything because I am a pretty loyal patient and I know things come up. However, my dentist office got bought out by Village Family Dental (something this business seems to go around doing) and it has been a hot mess ever since. New people every time I come in. No one seems to know what they are doing. I waited for an hour in the room to be seen, and when they finally came in (and looked up to see that I was even in the chair)they told me it would be even longer. My appointment was first thing in the morning so you can’t get THAT far behind. If you want a big “chain store” type business working on your mouth and you have a day to waste in there, go for it. My family will not be returning. As for Village Family Dental….Do better."

"At initial meeting, they failed to communicate limitations in treatment and the possibility of spaces remaining based on gums. I’ve had Invisalign before and this was not a problem, but I understand that gums change - but it should have been a discussion at consultation of the risks. They changed dentists three times in the year I was a patient. Front desk is rude and refuses to connect you directly to a dentist. Promised by third dentist to receive feedback; had to call multiple times a month later for any information. They refused to do a final scan after last trays to confirm the trays moved the teeth as planned. Over two months of unreturned voicemails, they finally agreed to at least get final retainer trays and whitening that was already paid for. The treatment isn’t complete (see pic below) - and seems like 1-2 trays would close the line, but they refuse to finish it and said cosmetic dentistry is required. Avoid at all costs."

"My dentist, Dr Scott Melton retired in Dec. (Off N Oak) He left his patients to Valley Family. Wow, what a mistake! I go in for a cleaning today. I've had the same insurance for 5 years. I have never had to pay before a cleaning. I was told today I could reschedule or pay $210 up front. I wasn't prepared to do that so I had to leave. I'm not going back! Can't believe they wouldn't work me. Dr Melton never treated his patients like that. So disappointed!"
