"I was very nervous to use packrat based on reveiws but I ignored that and glad I did! We moved from WA state to Missouri in July and all of the 5 parts went perfectly smooth. The first phone call, the drop off of an empty container, the pickup, and the cross-country drop off! The online system is great for scheduling the pickups and drops. They just ask for like 10 days notice which isnt unreasonable. I think a lot of people are expexting it to be quicker. The only complaint I have is the wait time when you call (after they already have you as a customer, not before) and to some people that feels shady. It had me sweating at times but if you just wait they will eventually answer and help you. Also they tried to charge the gas surcharge that I was told would be waived but I brought it to their attention and they fixed it. And finally, YES IT'S EXPENSIVE (4-5K for me) but they are on par or below with the going rate. pods was going to be 3k more. We just have to accept that these kinds of things are going to be expensive. Thank you PACK RAT! We appreciated you and will use you again."

"Two separate times containers did not arrive on the day they were scheduled creating countless headaches for our move. Called 1800 number multiples times and was assured we are on their schedule, but no one comes. Promises made from 1800 are not upheld by the local drivers. It is impossible to get in touch with someone locally who can address scheduling. You are promised delivery up until 10pm. So you will sit around waiting all day for containers that will not come. I do not recommend you use this company unless you want a very stressful move."

"Everything about this company is TERRIBLE! My experience with them started by my shipment being delayed an extra day, but no one notified me until I called asking for a time frame. I had asked to have the manager speak to me personally, because of how frustrating this situation was. They said he would give me a call and he never did. I had men being paid from 8am to 3pm when I called, all for nothing. Then the driver/manager let me know he will have someone pick up the pod that following Monday. It was never picked up Monday, more like two weeks after. On the pick up date, I waited two hours after the original phone call for them to actually show up. My favorite part of this whole process... THEY BROKE $3,000+ WORTH of only 6 month old furniture. What is the point of paying for their insurance if they won't cover it in the end and not take any accountability? They also had apologized for the inconvenience of the delay and assured me they would repay me for the works on that day. When I submitted the forms, they didn't even do that! All this company will do is steal your money and not make anything right."
