"Great place to stay, especially in the winter when it is cheaper. It is nice to have a small place to yourself with a fridge and kitchen. The heater is fantastic even in sub zero temps. The sheets are very warm as well. Arguably the best part is it is right across the street from the Rustic Inn Cafe."
"We stayed here 3 nights, in unit 6. I have stayed in many places on the North Shore and I have to rate this as one of the best. Clean, thoughtful, and a great location with the lake right out you front door, watch the sunrise while you have a cup of coffee. I really can say nothing negative about my experience. They even helped make my birthday special. Exceptional!!"
"Just returned from a 3-night stay here at “Gooseberry” (Cabin #2). Cozy, clean, very comfortable for two, quality linens, kitchen well equipped, great views out large window and from deck…enjoyed a fire each afternoon on the rocky ledge - absolutely beautiful!!! The owner, Nick, was friendly and accommodating. Value was excellent. We will be returning in the future."
"Perfect place to stay. Right on the lake. Stairs down to the lake. Quiet, family friendly place. Close to Two Harbors and right next to Gooseberry Falls. Can’t wait to stay again."
