"I cannot comment on the quality of therapy services at Murphy, but I can comment on their business practices. When I first enquired with them, I gave them a bulleted list of therapist qualifications that I was looking for before I'd sign on the dotted line. I was told their therapist had the experience to cover the list. After the initial consultation, the therapist (well, turns out she was 'pre-licensed' a fact that wasn't disclosed in any of a dozen emails during the month beforehand) decided that she was not qualified for our case. Due to the fact that I had to spend $5000 in legal fees just to get this therapist assigned to us by a judge, this flaky behavior affected my family in more ways than just having to find a replacement."
"For a psychology office, I'm disappointed in the level or urgency they put to responding to patients. When someone reaches out for help you would expect some sense of urgency. Instead, no one answers the phone and you are asked to use a online scheduling tool. After doing this, the appt they scheduled was cancelled with no explanation just a generic response routing me right back to the online scheduler. When rescheduling, it booked me for the same time and provider that had already been cancelled. I did call and leave a message, no response as of yet."
