"After visiting this place for 15 years. Granted under 2 names in that time. I've never seen such poor customer service on a simple mix up on my end tonight. I always order online and the one time it didn't go through, I was met with accusations and hate . Thanks Roat for keeping it friendly in uptown, I work and live one block away and order weekly w pickup that they prefer. Saves them money vs grub or door dash Very disappointed Edited after last Owner comment. I’ve never acted out, Always have paid online, I have never met you before tonight. You simply could have clarified your online issue. Nasty first impression from you. May I ALSO add, you have to pay for your order online on your site to place order. I went home and saw I didn’t complete order. Why you were waiving my order in front of me with free wontons just couldn’t be. Not sure what your deal was but you were being ridiculous."

"Authentic Thai restaurant in US. We ordered sea food sarachi, chicken satay and soup. The food is really good, except the shrimps were very few in main course. Overall its a good place, the owner is nice and friendly and staff is cooperative"

"I live about 3 1/2 hours away and every time I come to the cities I ALWAYS have to make a stop at Roat Osha!! The pad see yew is my favorite and it has never disappointed! I also always recommend this place to any friends that are looking for recommendations in the cities! It is a little hidden in the uptown area but to me it is a hidden secret gem for Thai food! Very clean and good service! Food is always fresh too! I always make sure to order more and take it home with me as I don’t have anything as good as this place in my hometown!"

"Thankful I booked an evening flight to head back home because I was able to get one last trip to my favorite Minneapolis thai restaurant. Once again we were taken such stellar care of by owners Lily and Alex. On this visit we tried one of Lily’s recommendation off of the appetizer section, Grilled Beef Jerky. This dish DID NOT disappoint. You can tell they use high quality ingredients by the way this tasted. Delicious marinate and grilled until perfectly tender. Both dipping sauces included were both so good. Also had the Fried Spring Rolls with pork which has become my must order dish every time. Their version of a classic is by far my favorite I’ve ever had. It’s a hot every time, and now I have my non addicted to them as well. For our entrees I got my must have Sriracha Fried Rice (spice level 4-which uses fresh thai chili). Was perfect as always. Cannot go wrong with this as an entree or for the table to share. Portions are insanely large. Thankfully I packed a small cooler bag for my carry-on because all of the leftovers came back home with me. Was the gift that kept on giving feeding me several more meals after I got home. My mom got the Panang Curry with chicken (spice level 4). Served with white rice. She and I absolutely loved it. Perfect balance of spice balanced by the sweet coconut milk. Another huge portion that she got to take home to continue to enjoy another meal out of. My mom loved my fried rice dish so much she placed an additional order for herself to go that she could eat for her work meal prep. Lily graciously sent me home with an extra order of the pork friend spring rolls. Reheated in the air fryer back at home brought them back to life and I wouldn’t be able to tell they didn’t just come fresh out of the fryer. I can’t speak more highly of this place. Great menu, fast friendly service, high food quality, taste is beyond!! Already thinking about going back when I return to MN again. Go visit or order take out!! And don’t sleep on their Happy Hour 3pm-6pm. Drinks for $2-$6 and a variety of foods for $6-$8."

"Food was sub par. Cream cheese wontons and fried rolls were meh. Not bad but not great. I tried the spicy sweet pineapple dish with beef. The dish was mostly bell peppers and onions. The few tiny of pieces of beef were very low quality and full of gristle, could barely chew it it was so bad. The rice was also cold. I would not recommend this place nor revisit. It was just bad. Our server was great, though."
