"Great place to stay, quiet place with not to many people pretty cheap rates if you go in the fall or early fall. Great lake to fish caught a lot of fish. If you are bringing kids they will love the blue gills that are very plentiful in the lake and a lot of other species. The only species in the lake we did not catch was bullhead. Also if you are bringing kids be prepared with vhs tapes of some movies and there is no wifi if the kids are phone faced. But other then that it is a great place! Lynn even gave us a free day on the boat and said we could stay another night free! Great people and a great place to stay!"
"We have been going to resorts up north for over 40 years. I must say this is the worst resort we have ever been to. The place was filthy. Garbage sitting around cabins, mattress sitting outside, broke down truck. They don't clean up after their dog. The owners do not let you bring your own beverages/snacks into the lodge. We asked if we could change the channel and were told no. So unfriendly and out of touch with why people go on vacation. They only care about collecting money and did nothing for their guests. I did contact Explore MN because this is not how anyone from MN should want visitors treated."
