"We were split into 2 tables because we had a large party of 13. The tables faced each other. The chef at my table was a lot of fun, and also friendly. The chef at our other table was pretty boring. Overall, it was a fun time, and the food and drinks were very good!"
"We go here upon occasions for family celebrations. Our chef was very amusing and made our time enjoyable. The food is great and the saki is a plus! Never had a chef just hand the bottle to me! 2 thumbs up for this chef!"
"Went on Saturday at noon. A little late in opening and we were in a tad bit of a hurry. But the waitress and chef were amazing hosts and we made our next destination on time. Food was top notch for a place like this too. We enjoyed some sushi rolls too which were very well prepared. Lots of nostalgia as we go to a place like this once every year or so. And this visit was among the best I and my large family have ever had. Thank you!"
"It's an ok Japanese restaurant near the mall. The quality of food was decent but the flavors weren't there. Hard to find the entrance in the dark and service was a bit slow."
"They are located next to LA fitness and across from Macys at Maplewood Mall. Parking lot is shared with other business. My son and I stopped by for a late night dinner. It wasn’t packed, which was nice. We sat and shared the griddle table with 3 other strangers with decent space to maneuver around, which it was great. Kid and family friendly, our table had two kids so our chef was persistent at entertaining and cooking at the same time. Even though, mine wasn’t in the mood and stubborn. But he caved in once he had some food in his tummy. And, complimented about the noodles to the chief. Our chef was awesome!! Food was decent, along with their flavoring and size portion served too. Overall, I enjoyed! I did ordered a 3 layer sangria and was delighted about it, too. I would go again."
