Residence Inn by Marriott St. Paul Woodbury

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. When we got to our room, my husband opened the curtains in one of the bedrooms and saw something on the floor. He bent over to pick it up only to find that he had picked up a pair of dirty underwear. We immediately called front desk and told them about our discovery. The only option offered to us at that time was to change rooms. I told the employee that we had just gotten all settled in and we would rather not change rooms because we had literally just finished putting everything away including stocking the refrigerator. She didn't offer any other resolution but said somebody would be coming up to grab the underwear. Someone in housekeeping did show up and grab the underwear. Later that evening we were leaving for dinner and as I walk past the front desk I stopped to speak to the employee again. I told her that I wasn't happy with the option she had offered and said that I didn't think it was reasonable that her only option was to ask us to be more inconvenienced rather than them do something for us. She told me that was all they had to offer and I said okay. The next morning we went on for breakfast (which was delicious, especially the sausage patties). There was another lady named Brooke working at the desk at that time. I told her what had happened to the day before and she immediately offered to give me $5,000 bonus points toward their rewards program. She was very kind and apologetic. That was the exact opposite of what I was met with the night before. In the end, due to the wonderful customer service provided by Brooke, we ended up having a great stay and would recommend the hotel based on our interaction with her."

"Rooms very nice. Breakfast not so much - day 1 cold runny scrambled eggs, day 2 cold scrambled eggs and sausage. Good coffee."

"I travel to Oakdale for business and this is my first choice of stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for helping us out with some issues with the online booking and getting us settled in the rooms as quickly as possible. The rooms are maintained well and my only suggestion is to stack up a few of the missing weights in the gym. Hope to see you guys soon again."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away. The room was clean and very nice. We loved having a kitchenette to cook in and be able to save dunge money eating in our room. They do have a nice continental breakfast here as well. The pool and soda area were also clean and looked to be accessible for people with mobility issues. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others."
