Graeser Park - Historic Wayside Rest
Graeser Park - Historic Wayside Rest is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 4400 Lakeland Avenue North in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, United States. This park was a popular gathering spot from the 1940s to the ’70s, where friends, families, and scouts would come together to enjoy the scenery. However, by the 1980s, the park had fallen into disrepair and was nearly forgotten. In 2008, the Robbinsdale Lions took on the task of restoring the park to its former glory. After years of hard work, the park has been revitalized, with the rock garden cleaned and stabilized, original stone picnic tables rebuilt, and the iconic “beehive” fireplace restored. The park is now a beautiful place for visitors to explore and enjoy in every season.
