Interdisciplinary collaborations for violence prevention in Minnesota

The Gender Violence Institute, located at 15540 Huber Avenue Northwest in Clearwater, Minnesota, is dedicated to understanding the connection between violence, power, and privilege in order to end sexual and domestic violence. Through community organizing, policy development, education, and training, the institute works to promote personal and cultural change necessary to end violence against women. Since 1993, the Gender Violence Institute has collaborated with professionals from various disciplines to address domestic and sexual violence in the United States and internationally. Affiliated with Praxis International and MN Men’s Action Network to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, the Gender Violence Institute is committed to creating a safer and more equitable world for all individuals.
