The Great Northern Depot Museum, located in Princeton, Minnesota, is home to the Mille Lacs County Historical Society. The museum features a new HO scale train layout exhibit showcasing the railroad from Elk River to Milaca in the 1900s. Flight Expo, Inc. is a car repair institution located at 1101 19th Avenue South, Princeton, Minnesota, United States. However, their mission is focused on educating and engaging individuals about the different facets of Aviation. Recently, they saved a Cold War Era Navy Grumman S2F Tracker from becoming lost to history. The Stoof was moved to Flight Expo, Inc in Princeton, MN, where Build-A-Plane students were able to check on the progress and final preparations before the move. The arrival of the S2F Tracker at the Princeton Municipal Airport was met with media coverage from local news channels. Flight Expo, Inc. is grateful for the support received from volunteers and donors, without whom the move would not have been possible. They continue to honor veterans with a Veterans Garden event and offer youth aged 12-18 the opportunity to explore aviation careers through hands-on experience with real aircraft under the supervision of licensed mechanics.
