"Hopkins Dance Company is different from so many other studios! There is an emphasis on technique, on personal responsibility, respect and hard work. My daughter learned so much about herself, working on a team, and gaining skills that have carried her through many situations in her life outside the studio. After Leslie Daly passed away, Mary Distel and Marge Thornton continued her style but improved on the model that Leslie had developed. They are great at working with the whole person - they are not just churning out dancers who can perform routines. They care about the dancers' physical and mental health, making sure they focus on becoming great human beings - being great dancers is the natural result! I have recommended the studio to friends with young girls just starting out - it's a great place for young people to grow!"
