Echo Point Shooting Range
Echo Point Shooting Range is a premier institution located at 3682 Monroe Road, Allegan, Michigan, United States. In addition to offering shooting and archery ranges, Echo Point Shooting Range also provides valuable information for fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and more. Visitors can find detailed information on fishing rules and regulations, hunting season dates, DNR shooting and archery resources, snowmobile trail permits, and tips for finding morel mushrooms in the forest. The institution also offers a variety of trail experiences for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and ORV riding. Visitor Centers across the state provide educational programs, field trips, and recreational opportunities. Echo Point Shooting Range administers grants to promote recreational lifestyles, enhance wildlife habitat, and ensure public safety. Visitors can also learn about Michigan's diverse range of wildlife species and participate in educational activities and workshops offered by DNR educators. The institution is open from April 15 through September on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and from October through December 17 on the same days but from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the winter season, Echo Point Shooting Range is closed. Seasonal positions are also available for park workers, interpreters, rangers, and wildlife workers.
