GP Zoology is a private animal sanctuary located at 21151 Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Our mission is to inspire education through nature and plant seeds of goodness in the world. Our one thousand square foot learning space is home to a variety of rescued animal friends, from the red rough scales of "Eva" the Madagascar tree boa to the soft fur of "Oliver" our South American native. We believe in inspiring conservation and respect for all living creatures, and aim to bring a little slice of nature to the city for all to marvel and learn from. By caring for animals, we hope to encourage a natural rhythm of caring for others. We offer opportunities for class field trips, scout classes, science camps, story nights, and private party events.
