Silver Lake Park
Silver Lake Park is the largest park in Fenton, Michigan, offering 35.4 acres of diverse recreational activities for visitors of all ages. Established in 1974 and located at 16000 Jennings Road, the park features ball fields, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, pavilions with electricity, badminton courts, play equipment for children, a beach area with lifeguards, a bath house, concession stand, nature trails, and picnic areas with grills. The Silver Lake Ski Club also holds performances on Tuesdays during the summer months. The park is open year-round, with the beach area available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Summer hours are typically from 10 am to 9 pm, with adjusted closing times later in the season. A small entrance fee is required during certain hours, and dogs are not allowed in the park. Visitors can reserve the park for events by submitting a Reservation Request Form to City Hall. Please note that kayaks, paddle boards, boats, and large floats are not permitted at Silver Lake Beach and Park.
