"Really unique experience in the "city". Where you can roam on miles of trails amongst huge trees and lush plants but be feet from rushing cars and commercial buildings. Lots of birds, very good for the soul! And free! Just with there was more signage about the flora and history."
"This was a lovely little set of walking trails, though I wouldn't recommend going the day after the storm as the trails are (mostly) grown over with taller grass so your feet WILL get wet in the wrong shoes. The sounds of the birds were so enchanting and it's nice to peak at the little lake on the other side of the brush (taking the Prairie Trail). Definitely recommend if you want to feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle! Just be prepared with bug spray and does water resistant shoes!"
"Absolutely beautiful park and so serene. Got to witness a doe crossing my path twice on the Sumac/Beech trails! I also took the blue trail in the back (Hidden Loop) and the flooding was cleared as of late September. I absolutely love how clearly the trails are labeled here."
