"Before posting this review I did talk to Ole the manager of this branch why a review was being left. I have given them many opportunities to correct this situation! Be careful if opening an account that is in a trust! Brandon Valdo, advisor has animosity towards a Trust attorney in the Grand Rapids area. Brandon refused to work with this attorney which has caused problems for me after the death of my dad. With his animosity and refusal to honor the trust it has been nothing but problems for the last three years! Then add to the frustration it involves variable annuities he invested me in when up to that point my only investment was being invested in a 401K with 90% in the G government fund. I'm only asking for proof, law/IRS code that supports your position. I'm not accepting, "I talked to a few companies." With Flagstar's animosity they should have refused to open the accounts and I would gladly go elsewhere! If Brandon had concerns about the trust he should have mentioned it to my dad, he had that opportunity when he opened a CD for my dad. Actually, knowing now what you would put me through I would have gladly payed you the amount you received in commissions on all accounts opened to keep your hands off! Far cheaper than the frustration and time to get this corrected! RESPONSE: Tried that number, then the usual pick 1, pick 2 and on and on and then disconnected. Not surprised. You call or email me. I'm not expecting anything to be resolved but just further adds to the people that have been notified of the problem and their refusal to correct. Also, I need help on this....Flagstar in Grand Ledge opened a MYGA for me, I thought they can't mess that up in anyway! I even got confirmation before I went into the MYGA! But, I have a seven year MYGA that has to be distributed within five years! I have the original application and it has errors! Flagstar didn't even catch it! I could list the additional errors but I'll run out of space!"
