John Roarty is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist located at 7001 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. He sees patients at Children’s Eye Care’s Clinton Township and Detroit offices, with primary affiliation at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Roarty is also on staff at Ascension St John’s Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, and Hurley Medical Center, where he provides screening for premature babies’ eyes for retinopathy of prematurity in the neonatal intensive care unit. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Roarty served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan from 2004-2020. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Kresge Eye Institute, dedicated to providing excellent clinical care in pediatric ophthalmology and educating future physicians in the field.
