Meinert Park Pines Campground is a peaceful retreat for outdoor enthusiasts located in Michigan, United States. Situated at the north end of the county, the campground offers full hookups and is just a short walk to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach. The park spans 182 acres of forested dunes, providing scenic overlooks of Little Flower Creek and the Lake Michigan shoreline. Visitors can hike to the top of the parabolic dune for stunning panoramic views. In addition to the campground, Meinert Park also features a modern rental cottage with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a full bathroom, accommodating up to 6 people. The park's picnic shelter is perfect for family gatherings, graduation parties, and group picnics, with seating for up to forty people, electrical outlets, and a grill.
Twin Lake Park
Twin Lake Park is a popular 15-acre day use park located at 6231 Main Street in Twin Lake, Michigan. This tourist attraction offers plenty of shade from beautiful oak trees and features 800 feet of water frontage on Twin Lake, making it a great spot for picnicking and swimming. Visitors can enjoy concessions with ice cream and a variety of food options. The park offers two covered picnic pavilions and a picnic lodge, perfect for large group gatherings. The Twin Lake Picnic Lodge, built around 1936 by the Works Progress Administration, showcases fine wood craftsmanship from that era and includes amenities such as a stove/oven, sink, fridge, and electrical outlets. The lodge also features a stage, with restrooms, playground, and beach nearby.
