Located at 566-950 Macinnes Drive in Houghton, Michigan, the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science at Michigan Technological University is a school dedicated to understanding, managing, sustaining, protecting, and restoring natural resource systems. With over 5,000 acres of University forests set aside for research, education, recreation, and outreach, students, faculty, and researchers come together to measure, map, analyze, and deploy solutions for the challenges facing our natural world. The College offers programs in Applied Ecology and Environmental Science, forestry, and natural resource management, providing students with the opportunity to study how the changing climate will affect our future forests.
