Established thirty-four years ago by a group of local residents, the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the area. The society recently showcased the late photographer Virgil D. Haynes' collection of nostalgic Harbor Springs images at the Harbor Springs History Museum.
