On the main floor, the "Alpine Dining Room" provides a casual pub-style service in a classic beer hall setting. Upstairs, Club Above features DJs, live music, and dancing, including a new Latin Night every Friday. The club is also available for private events. Downstairs, the Rathskeller offers a classic rathskeller setting where friends can gather for drinks and bites to eat. New German dishes have been added to the traditional menu. The Club Above is back with live music and DJs several nights a week, and the space can be booked for events. "According to the staff, we were the first people of the day there at 8pm. None of the TV's worked when we were hoping to watch the red wings game. Wait staff were new and had no idea about what any of the beers were and could not understand some of our questions. We had a group of 6 and 3 out of the 6 got served completely different beers than what were ordered. Wait staff admitted they were new and were very unfamiliar with what they had available. Music was very wrong for a German beer hall as well, they put on Latin club music. I have come here in the past and been happy with the place but this time it was no different than a low quality dive bar. I hope that they can get back to a higher standard."
"Who doesn't love Heidelberg? I've never gotten the boot because you have to leave a deposit in case the glass breaks or people steal it, but wonderful drinks and it's so charming inside. Always amazing bar service as well."
"Raw meat. Waited almost 2 hours for our meal for 3 people, and was served raw schnitzel.Never warned us about the lengthy wait. No one cared. Asked bartender to check on our appetizers twice, never let me know. Place is a joke. Used to be good 15 years ago,. Now it’s just another college drinking hole."
"I had to stop in here since I am a graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin Ohio. We had a drink. The decor is so cool. They have three levels. The upstairs is available for private parties, the main floor is the restaurant, and the lower level is a cool bar vibe. There's a bar in the main restaurant as well. I'll being back to eat soon. The menu looked great."
