Over the past 37 years, the council has been dedicated to providing programs and education that enrich the lives of residents in the area. Originally a volunteer-run organization, the Thornapple Arts Council now has two staff members who work alongside dedicated volunteers to support their mission. They offer a variety of programs, including the Barry County Artists Exhibition, which showcases local talent, and scholarships for high school students to attend accredited summer arts camps.
