"I got some good deals at Meijer's yesterday. It is always so clean and bright, I enjoy shopping there. The girl that checked me out was so pleasant and efficient, her name was Nikki. My sister was shopping there too when we met at the car with our packages, she went on about what a sweet cashier she got. Her husband suffers from dementia and he wanted to pay but he was having a heck of a problem with his debit card his wife tried to help but after several mistakes he finally got it. My sister said the employee was so kind and patient with him not becoming annoyed or frustrated. I checked her receipt and she had been assisted by Nikki."
"Store was clean and well stocked. Although unlike a year or 2 ago the prices aren't nearly as good. Once you do the conversion from the USA to Canadian alot of prices are similar or more expensive! I found a voucher of things that were good deals but it didn't justify the expense of driving there."
"It's a Meijer that's for sure. Way better than Walmart. Still, all of this stuff just goes to the landfill. So hard to view any of this as necessary when knowing it just all gets trashed sooner or later. Very little utility to any of the stuff. Clean and well lit. No employees except at the registers. Not even a door guard employee now that I think about it. That's different. Good store."
