The business was later acquired by long-time employees James and Barbara Dailey in 1983, who focused on hydraulic presses for the metal casting industry. Today, Metal Mechanics is known as the benchmark for metal trimming presses in the die cast industry, with over 290 different die casting companies as clients. The institution is now in its 70th year of operation and has recently completed its 8th expansion, opening a new 30,000 square foot hydraulic press manufacturing facility. Owned by Tom and Elizabeth Dailey, Metal Mechanics continues to focus on quality and value in the production of hydraulic presses, capable of generating over 200 tons of force.
