Double D Income Tax Service-Clear Strategy

"Really unhappy with my experience with Dan(?) called in Jan to get my taxes prepared. Was told I needed to wait until February and that I could expect a call then. Didn’t get a call in February, so I called back and was told to drop my taxes off in March. After 3 weeks I called and was told they were ready. This means no one called to verify my info. I called to address this, and ask about my deductions. I’m 10-99 so it’s important to me that things are closely and carefully considered. I was told my total, and when I asked to speak fo my prepared I was told “no. He’s swamped”. I asked many clarifying questions that were just batted away. I was told I had to pay before I got them back. So I did, and noticed many errors. When I called to discuss, I was told it was too late. I was also told as far as paying my estimated to avoid fees, that I should “pay whatever I’m comfortable with”. Well that’s not how the IRS works. I asked again to speak to someone who understood my preparation. I was told I could expect a call back the next day. It has never happened. I will never come back. I will say rich was always great and I wish I had known he passed before bringing my taxes here."

"Very disappointed. I used DD for several years. Once Dan retired the service went downhill. I'm a firefighter from the city of Detroit. That used to mean something there! They messed up my taxes several times and when I asked for a refund she (Denise) denied me. I asked who would pay for a bad service? They would have never done this in the past so if you're looking for a tax service do not use double d tax service. This business is not honorable. I will share this with all my friends and coworkers! Don't get robbed by double d during this pandemic!!!"

"I having been going to Dan for years so I was disappointed when I found out he retired. His partner Rick bought the business and I had never met him so I was apprehensive about using his services. I was pleasantly surprised on the transition. Rick had all my previous returns and used this as a guide with this year taxes. He was professional and did not rush me. He answered all questions about future years taxes. I was very impressed. Yes, I miss my old friend Dan to chat about people we no in common. I wish him the best and thank you for the great job you did for me over the years. I will continue to use Rick in the future. I don't think anyone needs to be apprensive. He was very well prepared.
