The Dow House, located at 180 Hillsdale Street in Hillsdale, Michigan, is a historic university residence with a rich history. Built in the late 1850s, this Victorian-era villa is the oldest residence on campus and is known for its beautiful blue door, red brick exterior, white columns, and dramatic corbels. The house is named after Lorenzo Dow, an alumnus and former trustee of Hillsdale College. Currently, Dow House is home to 15 sophomore and junior women, who live and study in this unique and charming setting. With its historical significance and picturesque architecture, The Dow House is a cherished part of the Hillsdale College community.
