● OpenThe Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse is a historic institution located at 526 North Huron Avenue in Mackinaw City, Michigan, United States. This museum and tourist attraction offers visitors a glimpse into the life of lighthouse keepers in the early 1900s. The Keepers' Quarters feature three rooms restored to their 1910 appearance, as well as a gallery exhibit on the history of the lighthouse with hands-on displays and original artifacts. A new exhibit on optics, lenses, and sound and fog signals can be found on the main floor of the house, while the second floor showcases the living quarters of Keeper George Marshall and his family.
