Chemical Sciences and Engineering Building

This building houses the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, as well as the Unit Operations Lab and Simulated Process Control Center on the first floor. The computer lab on the first floor is utilized by students in the College of Business, thanks to sponsorship from Kimberly-Clark. A time capsule was placed in the wall of the building in 1969, set to be opened in 2050. Notably, Chemistry alumnus Melvin Calvin, class of 1931, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1961.
