Orchards Children's Services is a non-profit institution located in Southfield, Michigan, United States. Since its establishment over 60 years ago by the Greater Detroit Section of the National Council of Jewish Women, Orchards has been dedicated to improving the lives of children in need. The institution provides temporary and safe homes for children entering the foster care system, as well as family preservation programs to prevent children from being placed in foster care. With a strong focus on recruiting, training, and licensing foster parents, Orchards has served over 5,000 children in ten counties. Additionally, the institution has completed more than 3,000 adoptions since entering the adoptions field in 1986.
