Whispering Waters Campground
Whispering Waters Campground is a beautiful retreat located at 1805 North Irving Road in Hastings, Michigan, United States. Our 26 wooded acres offer a peaceful and relaxing environment for guests to enjoy. Due to the protection of our trees from various bugs, we do not allow any outside wood to be brought in, but we offer low prices for bulk delivery of firewood to our guests. Our campground offers a variety of amenities including RV supplies, clean restrooms, an exercise room for adults, first aid services, electric receptacles, laundry facilities, a library with over 3000 books, sand volleyball, fishing, a large playground, LP Gas for sale, planned special events, a pavilion, picnic tables and fire rings, river access, spacious sites on grass, hot showers, a swimming pool, kayak landing, walking trails, and rainy day activities.

The Thornapple Arts Council, located at 231 South Broadway Street in Hastings, Michigan, was founded in November 1985 with a vision to spark creativity, community, and culture in Barry County. Over the past 37 years, the council has been dedicated to providing programs and education that enrich the lives of residents in the area. Originally a volunteer-run organization, the Thornapple Arts Council now has two staff members who work alongside dedicated volunteers to support their mission. They offer a variety of programs, including the Barry County Artists Exhibition, which showcases local talent, and scholarships for high school students to attend accredited summer arts camps.
