● OpenBowen Elementary School is a primary school located at 4483 Kalamazoo Avenue Southeast in Kentwood, Michigan, United States. This week marks the beginning of our celebration of Black History Month, where we will honor the past and celebrate the future by recognizing the contributions of African Americans to this country. In the final week, we will focus on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their influence on the African American community. Our mission is to nurture life-long learners through relevant and rigorous instruction, maintaining high academic performance and promoting a love for reading.
