The Tauber Family Railroad, located in Royal Oak, Michigan, is a beloved institution at the Detroit Zoo. Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with gates closing at 4:30 p.m., this miniature railroad has been delighting visitors since 1931. With two complete trains of six coaches each and one standby, all three locomotives were generously donated by the Chrysler Corp.
