The Student Recreation Center, located at 401 South Street in Big Rapids, Michigan, is a hub for fitness and wellness on campus. Our mission is to promote healthy interactions and enhance the academic experience through quality programs that foster leadership, social development, and active lifestyles for the university community. While the SRC pool is currently closed for maintenance, students can still take advantage of a variety of amenities such as intramural and club sports, fitness coaching, cardio and weight training centers. Our goal is to help each student reach their fitness and wellness goals in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Racquet & Fitness Center, located at 14342 Northland Drive in Big Rapids, Michigan, is a top-notch gym and health facility. With convenient hours from Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., we offer a variety of fitness equipment and classes to help you reach your health goals. Our membership includes access to University Recreation facilities as well. Additionally, our commitment to the community is showcased through our donations of used tennis equipment to local schools, churches, hospitals, senior centers, and other non-profit organizations.
