New Way Training Center is Michigan's premier Boxing, MMA, BJJ & training facility located at 48075 Van Dyke Avenue in Shelby Township. We offer a full-service facility for combat sports, wrestling, fitness, CPR, first aid, self-defense, Yoga, and more. Our 12,000 sq ft facility has merged with Macomb MA, offering higher-level skills in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, Karate, Judo, Yoga, and more for kids, adults, and women.
Our coaches are not just instructors but competitors with a passion for sharing their knowledge. New Way has been a part of the local boxing, fitness, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community since 2011. With Macomb Martial Arts now inside New Way, we offer top MMA instruction in Michigan.
Whether you're a beginner or experienced, our coaches have professional experience across all programs. The owners of New Way have over 20 years of experience in boxing and coach both amateur and professional fighters. Our BJJ coaches have over 10 years of technical experience and provide passionate instruction. With Macomb Martial Arts on board, you can expect a lifelong experience in martial arts.

"Izzy is a fantastic bjj instructor, and all the coaches are completely legit fighters and instructors. Some coaches may be your flavor more than others, but overall you will learn correct technique and have a good experience here. Do be prepared to live roll, get tired, and engage to see what actually works and what doesn’t. I have been doing drop ins and haven’t had a membership in a few years, but I will very likely be paying for a membership as soon as I can do more than 1 class a week, but now I just can’t. Take your kids here if actually learning how to defend themselves is the goal, as well."
