This park was purchased by the town in 1986 and covers approximately 316 acres, with a 165-acre Cranberry Bog in South Chelmsford and the other half in Carlisle managed by the Carlisle Conservation Commission. The park features a wide flat trail leading to a small dam that historically served for cranberry farming. The property is mostly wetlands, providing habitat for various wildlife such as migratory waterfowl, mink, otter, beaver, great blue heron, deer, and other mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. It is also a great spot for fishing, with a naturally reproducing population of largemouth Bass and chain pickerel. The park is a beautiful natural resource and a great place for outdoor activities and wildlife observation.
