"I’ve never really understood what space Courtyard fills in the Marriott portfolio. The exteriors are use above average looking as are the lobbies. After that though, the hallways and rooms seem dim and drab, dingy even. There was an EV charger onsite, but it looked as if someone backed into it and there was an orange cone in the space. Luckily, we had just charged up at a supercharger down the road. Overall, our stay was good. The beds were well used but still comfortable. None of our requests were accommodated (foam pillows, extra blanket, room w/microwave). Our room was in need of a little TLC and maybe some extra work to clean the mold in the bathroom. There was a nice 60-65” Flat Screen in the room which is above average for Marriott hotels. We stayed here using points which made our stay, 3-star. If this was a paid room at the going rate ($200), I would have given 2 stars and felt that I overpaid."

"I recently stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Hadley Amherst during my visit to Amherst, and overall, it was a good experience. The room was lovely and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The amenities, however, were a bit limited, with a small swimming pool and gym. One drawback was the absence of a buffet breakfast, but they offered an alternative of ordering food from their restaurant. The breakfast burrito and muffin we had were enjoyable. On the downside, the cocktails we ordered from the restaurant were disappointing. They lacked alcohol, and the neat vodka we tried seemed to be premixed with water from the bottle, which was a letdown. While I would recommend the hotel for its comfortable rooms, and good service, I must caution against ordering drinks from the bar. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the bar experience was a shame."

"staff was good, pool and gym was clean. breakfast was not good at all. i had better breakfast at motel 8 or days in at half the rate that i paid here. the lady that checked me in made my key for 1 day even if my reservation said 4 day's so every day after work i would have to comeback down to the front desk to activate my room key again and after a 12 hour shift all i want to do is shower and sleep."
