Student campus life in Duxbury, Massachusetts

Duxbury Student Union (DSU) is a nonprofit organization located in Duxbury, Massachusetts, offering a variety of programs and events for young people of all ages. Our mission-based programs focus on social and life skills development, global citizenship, and academic and career pathways. Our EEC certified After School Programs feature innovative daily programming and the Habits of Mind Curriculum to promote kindness, empathy, self-management, and independent learning. One of our signature events, “HIREDuxbury,” connects local businesses and nonprofits with motivated job seekers. Our recent event at Duxbury High School welcomed over 300 attendees, who were inspired by guest speaker Dan Hassett of Levitate before meeting with potential employers for jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. South Shore Conservatory, located at 64 Saint George Street in Duxbury, Massachusetts, is a vibrant arts community dedicated to enriching the lives of students of all ages and abilities through music and dance. With a mission to provide exceptional arts education and performance opportunities, the institution offers a wide range of classes and programs at their campuses in Hingham and Duxbury. Prospective preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten parents can get a unique glimpse into a day in the life of a student and meet the Director. South Shore Conservatory also offers spring lessons and classes in music and dance, including Creative Arts Therapies programs.
