"Lived in Methuen half my life and discovered this place about 2 years ago. Truly a gem, thanks to this place my kid loves fish and the tartar sauce here. Hard working staffs too I always leave a tip cause myself worked in the restaurant industry for almost 8 years. This place is legit and reasonable price."
"I've been visiting NE Seafood for the last 4-5 years and have been pretty much happy with the food. Until now, and I hope it's an isolated incident. I ordered and picked up my food (Fisherman's Platter and Fried Smelts). I drove home immediately (12 minute ride) and found that my food was cold. Not just cooled off, actually cold, as if I received an order that had been sitting around for a while. And the portions of fish werr no where as plentiful as usual. Also, the Smelts smelled fishy...when I make them myself, there's no fishy odor. As I said this is the first bad meal I have gotten from NE Seafood and hopefully the next time I go there, it's back to normal."
"A must stop place for fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Meals can be fried or broiled with choice of sides. I always order a pint of their delicious cole slaw. The chowder and bisque always hit the spot. They also have a fresh fish market with great choices."
"We used to live in the area. Whenever we visit we get fried clam bellies. The ones we got today were delicious. This place is not really a restaurant but a place to sit and eat in a deli which is ok if you're more interested in flavor and not so much ambiance. Prices were high but all fresh seafood anywhere is high now days. I would eat here again."
