The park will be extended in the future, with plans already in place for further development. The Rotary Club dedicated a bench to the late Ben Collins, a nature lover and longtime member, in a touching tribute. Former selectman Charles Wayne was credited with bringing the vision of the Riverwalk to Ipswich, inspired by a visit to San Antonio, Texas. The project was praised for its vision, resourcefulness, perseverance, and partnership, making it a beloved addition to the town.
