β OpenWelcome to Shir Hadash, a warm and welcoming synagogue located at 1310 Centre Street, Newton, Massachusetts. As a small, inclusive, and participatory egalitarian congregation affiliated with the Reconstructionist branch of Judaism, we are dedicated to meeting the spiritual, educational, social, and pastoral needs of adults. Our name, Shir Hadash, meaning "A New Song," is inspired by Psalm 98, reflecting our vibrant and evolving community spirit.
