"I just completed my second kitchen project with Anthony Pasquale of Baystate Kitchen Design. The first project was for my primary residence and most recent for a second home. Anthony is a master at his craft. He is a top-notch technician when it comes to all things kitchen design and cabinetry. His attention to detail is unmatched. One of the benefits of working with Anthony is that he prepares a detailed playbook book that incudes room layouts, elevations, cabinet details and appliance specs for your contractor and subs to rely upon. It makes their job so much easier and minimizes the risks of any mistakes or misunderstandings during the renovation process. I have been told by my contractor, plumber, and election in my most recent project that they have never seen anyone provide such information in a highly organized manner. Last but not least, the cabinets are gorgeous. Bay State Kitchen offers both semi-custom and custom cabinetry. In both of my projects I chose the custom line which is meticulously made in Pennsylvania. The cabinets installed 10 years ago from my first project continue to remain in excellent condition, which is a testament to their quality."

"I am writing this in depth review about Anthony Pasquale of Bay State Kitchen Design because I am thrilled by his work. We had worked with another kitchen designer for 6 months and had not converged on a final plan. A friend recommended Anthony highly and said let him work his magic. Anthony looked at our preliminary plans and made suggestions on how to improve the use of space. He took the time to show us different cabinet styles and explain the different finishes. We went through books with different edges, facing and overlays etc. and he helped us choose one that suited the simple look we wanted. He asked us questions about how we utilize the space and came up with several designs for us to choose between. He made suggestions such as losing the trim around our doors to make more space for bigger cabinets, helped us select rollouts and deeper drawers for plates. He then made 3 house calls to visit our home to measure, check measurements, and verify the design. While explaining the final design to us, Anthony also explained the order in which the cabinets should be installed so that the cabinets would fit without issues. He worked closely with the contractor who was doing the installation to be sure that he understood the finer details of the design. After we chose the wood and the cabinet design Anthony had a cabinet door made up for us so we could see what the final product would look like. We took this door home to make sure we were completely happy with it. It was invaluable to have this sample cabinet door when picking out countertops, tile, and colors for the kitchen. After we approved the door Anthony ordered the cabinets and put together a “bible” binder with the dimensions of each cabinet. The binder contains floor plans, detail prints, appliance information, and countertop details. There was a detailed picture of each cabinet we ordered, indicating where it should be installed as well as pictures of wainscoting, end panels, crown molding style, and installation measurements. We had frequent phone calls and he answered all of our questions. He even came to help me pick out a countertop and marked up how it should be fabricated. His attention to detail included: Leaving enough space for the refrigerator door to open without hitting the cabinets Selecting the directions that doors opened for symmetry and efficiency. Checking dimensions of our appliances to make sure that they would fit into the space. Moving the peninsula a foot and extending the leg space so the kitchen feels even larger. Adding a cabinet to our laundry room that fits well with our washer and dryer. Coming to the house the day the cabinets arrived to verify that we received the correct cabinets. Anthony is an artist with great vision. He told us that he started his career hanging cabinets. He understands, not just the design aspects, but the importance of installing them properly, as well, and how they need to fit to open properly. He transformed our kitchen with inadequate cabinet space and turned it into a spacious, well appointed respite. His experience as a cabinet installer informed his design and resulted in less issues during and after installation. Anthony is personable, funny and has impeccable attention to design and detail. He followed us every step of the way to answer questions. He made this experience pleasant and we love the design and quality of the cabinets. We have the ultimate respect for Anthony’s abilities and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new kitchen design."
