"I made an appointment on Wednesday. I had a high fever and persistent fever. I am a teacher and had been exposed to Covid and Pneumonia among other things. I saw Caroline O’Connell. They swabbed ONE nostril. They tested for flu and Covid. I told them my chest hurt. They dismissed these concerns. They gave me a Rx for an inhaler that CVS does not carry and CVS said no one carries. CVS contacted them multiple times to switch the Rx with no response. By Thursday I was feeling much worse. I could barely move. My chest and lungs hurt. I made another appointment. Their secretary called me and very rudely questioned my symptoms, told me to get out of bed and take my temperature again. Which I did. It was 102.3 after an hour of 4 Advil. They told me I wasn’t taking the inhaler enough. (I was taking my inhaler that I have at home). They never sent the correct inhaler and ignore CVS contacts. They told me they couldn’t help me and I should just go to my primary care. I was crying on the phone in pain. I have two young children, with special needs and one with medical complexities. I told them I was sure that I had pneumonia and begged them to give me a chest X-ray. Their website says they give X-rays and diagnose pneumonia. The secretary was completely unempathetic (I don’t have her name but she had no compassion) and she hung up the phone. I drove myself to Beverly’s ER. I was greeted by kind and caring nurses and doctors. They got me a chest X-ray immediately. I have pneumonia badly and my left lung has significantly filled with fluid. My fever was 104.7 by Friday. I could barely stand. If this was handled correctly on Wednesday I would be on my way to feeling better. Avoid urgent care in Gloucester at all costs. Do your self a favor and head straight to Beverly. I was listened to and treated with care and kindness."

"I was in on Monday after a fall, had a temp. cast put on and some stitches. Brit was there throuout assusting on Monday and again today whenI had my stitches out. I made an appointment (didnt realize I could) and everything ran smoothly and on time, thank ypu! Brit was very kind, caring and gentle throughout - thank you! Overall a very positive experience."
