Welcome to the Berkshire Art Museum Annex, a unique cultural destination located at 82 Summer Street, North Adams, Massachusetts. Situated just 200 steps from our main building, the Annex, also known as "A Chapel for Humanity," offers an immersive art experience with its stunning contemporary sculptural epic. This extraordinary collection features over 150 life-sized figures, 250 low-relief figures, and a poignant 9/11 memorial. Founded by the Barbara and Eric Rudd Art Foundation, the Berkshire Art Museum was established in 2012 and opened its doors to the public in 2014. Our mission is to present both changing and permanent art exhibitions across 25,000 square feet of space in two beautifully repurposed buildings. The Annex, which originally opened in 2001, continues to captivate visitors with its thought-provoking installations.
