Mentoring services for students in Dedham, Massachusetts

Bay State Learning Center, located at 45 Bullard Street in Dedham, Massachusetts, is a full-time alternative school for teens. Our mission is to empower teens to flourish through personal relationships, genuine engagement, and self-directed education. We offer personalized, flexible learning opportunities in a supportive atmosphere, with creative classes, diverse peers, dedicated mentors, and activities that encourage dynamic self-directed learning. At BSLC, we promote a culture of autonomy and self-determination while providing active mentorship to help students reach their goals and engage their interests successfully. We are proud to support and be represented by our Neurodiverse, LGBTQ , and BIPOC communities. Parents and students alike have praised the center for providing an oasis of acceptance and an opportunity for growth and learning. Students have developed a love of learning, a fascination with the world, and a passion for justice through their experiences at BSLC.
