Essex County District Attorney
The Essex County District Attorney, located at 197 Main Street in Gloucester, Massachusetts, is a courthouse and local government office dedicated to ensuring public safety for the people of Essex County. Led by District Attorney Paul F. Tucker, the institution employs a team of 85 lawyers and 100 victim-witness, juvenile justice, and support personnel who serve the county's 34 cities and towns. The office prosecutes crimes, supports victims, provides juvenile and diversion programs, and represents the Commonwealth in civil litigation.
